Part 2 - UNIT 4 The Mind-Body-Spirit Paradigm


Subject: Mental Workout
The concept of mental workout is a daily exercise to evolve the person’s psychospiritual life and to have a clear understanding of the contemplative practice to develop a progress of expanding the person’s consciousness and the healing capacity.
There are two types of contemplative practices, loving-kindness and subtle mind. The Loving-kindness is a practices to teach a person how to open their hearts to others without self centeredness, and priming the person’s mind for further development. The subtle mind is a practice to open the person mind to reveal the wisdom that is an essential element to heal the source and drive human flourishing.
The benefits of mental workout to have a complete control over your mind and learn how to stabilize the person well-being, maintain in a calm-abiding state of consciousness and unity consciousness. The mental workout develops the mind to become mature with wisdom and to allow the person to be peaceful, compassion, and happiness as a whole person.
The two practices, subtle mind and loving-kindness, helps to “tame and train the mind, open the heart, expand consciousness, and develop the progress of psychospiritual flourishing which introduce integral health to the person who has learn through this workout to express more loving-kindness to others and the wisdom to allow the person to make better decisions concerning their health needs.
